Summary of works: Soundproofing, IKEA hack wardrobes, ornate plasterwork.<\/p>\n

Soundproofing was installed in the bedroom alcoves, and IKEA hack wardrobes installed. This involves using IKEA Pax units with Komplement internals, modified slightly to allow for permanent installation on a fixed base. Bespoke doors, panelling, scribes, plinth & pelmet complete the bespoke appearance. The original cornice was copied by a specialist contractor, and wrapped around the new pelmets.<\/p>\n

There is a bit of modification work to make an IKEA hack work, but it does save a lot of money compared to a fully-bespoke wardrobe (which we also do).<\/p>\n
