We built a large shelf unit with a worktop and cabinets below to create this home office in North Bristol. Adjustable shelves allow for storage of either books or larger items.
The deeper cabinets with doors hide file boxes. The worktop was built from long, wide oak staves to be at the same level as the client’s existing desk.
As the desk blocks two of the low doors, a flush secret door was added at the side of that unit to allow the client to use the storage space. Back panels are painted in the wall colour, a nice touch.
