Bespoke Kitchens

We have trade accounts at Howdens and Benchmarx, but we can happily fit any brand.

We also have close links with bespoke kitchen manufacturers, and we can arrange the entire build including managing subcontractors. All you have to do is make design decisions.

You can have any kind of kitchen worktop you want, including solid hardwood, stone and Corian. Stone and Corian worktops are supplied and fitted by external contractors who specialise in these materials.

Bedrooms

We help lots of customers with either bespoke bedroom carpentry or IKEA hacking.
From side units to bedrooms, wardrobes and drawers we have a wealth of experience.

We are able to give expert carpentry advice and ensure your project is delivered to the most exacting standards.

Bathrooms

We have extensive experience of fitting bathrooms. Challenging builds are welcome, including modern features such as wetrooms.

Although it seems surprising, a carpenter is the best tradesman to oversee fitting a bathroom, because his job is, in essence, making sure everything lines up and fits together perfectly.

If you want any integrated storage in your new bathroom, then involving a carpenter from day one is a must.

Joinery

Joinery is a more precise branch of carpentry, generally but not exclusively workshop based.
Includes wardrobes and fitted storage, bespoke shelving, alcove shelving, alcove storage, eaves storage, understairs storage, bookcases, libraries, hidden doors, secret entrances, airing cupboards, larders, home office installations.

Doors, staircases and windows are also made by a joiner, but these days these are made in larger workshops or factories.

Soundproofing and Music Studios

Unless you have an underground bunker, we can’t actually soundproof your property, strictly speaking. But there are ways to substantially reduce sound transmission between rooms and through party walls. Getting rid of air gaps, installing muffling material such as Rockwool, separating layers, and simply adding lots of mass are all part of the puzzle.

General Building and Refurbishment

We can build any kind of extension, alteration, or complete new build. Brickwork, plastering, tiling and roofing are carried out by trusted and qualified subcontractors, but I ultimately supervise and quality-check every detail. We will need technical drawings to price and build from. These don’t necessarily need to be produced by an architect, and architectural technologists are qualified to design most domestic extensions and alterations.
